Is psychotherapy right for me?

Your My Psych Health provider calls you during your scheduled appointment time to complete a psychiatric evaluation. They ask about your behavior patterns, thoughts, emotions, mood, and more to determine which mental health challenge you may have. Your provider also discusses your lifestyle habits, personal medical history, and family medical history.

In addition to psychotherapy sessions, My Psych Health offers medication management, counseling, and more to optimize your mood and overall well-being.

What should I expect during psychotherapy?

During psychotherapy sessions at My Psych Health, your provider contacts you via your phone, tablet, or computer for therapy sessions. They provide cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and other talk therapy methods that teach you ways to overcome difficult life situations, thoughts, and emotions.

You can meet with your therapist weekly or as needed to break addictive habits and tackle difficult obstacles. Depending on your specific needs, you might meet with them individually, as a couple, with other family members, or in a group.

They follow up with you routinely for counseling sessions and medication refills.
